Yes, we are a 3rd party distributor that has partnered with factories directly for products. All masks are manufactured/shipped from factories in China.

ARE THESE MASKS FAKES?

All masks are authentic and adhere to FDA + CDC approved guidelines. The Mask Box is an LLC'd company with Integrity with the sole purpose of providing options and accessibility to PPE not readily available to the masses. HOW ARE DONATIONS HANDLED? CAN I SELECT WHERE THE DONATIONS GOES?

While supplies last, donations are currently handled in a queue and are first-come first-serve to be fair. Donations are sent to hospitals at our discretion of need.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN N95 AND KN95 PARTICULATE RESPIRATORS?

N95 Particulate Respirators are approved by the FDA that are regulated by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

ARE KN95'S APPROVED?

WHAT DOES PM2.5 STAND FOR?

Minuscule airborne hazards (chemicals, soil, smoke, dust or allergens, in the form of liquids, gases or solids) are referred to as particulate matter, or PM. The 2.5 in PM2.5 refers to the size of the pollutant in micrometers. PM2.5 filters capture those micro-particles with Activated Carbon lining and 5-layers of Electrostatic cotton.

AM I AT RISK FOR COVID FROM A PACKAGE/PRODUCTS SHIPPING FROM CHINA?

According to the CDC, there is still a lot that is unknown about COVID-19 and how it spreads. This coronaviruses is thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Although the virus can survive for a short period on some surfaces, it is unlikely to be spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods. Information will be provided on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) website as it becomes available.

A mask does not exempt you from contracting the virus. Even with a mask, you must still practice social distancing and staying home if not essential. If Essential, be mindful of others and stay 6ft away. The CDC has now mandated everyone to use masks to prevent the spread of people who are asymptomatic. Please be safe and mindful of those around you!
